Every finisher knows that a good felt block is an important tool for fine hand finishing. These white wool felt blocks are the best I've seen in a long time.
They're specially cut 2.25" x 4.5" x 1.125" to fit a 1/4 sheet of sandpaper and fit nicely in your hand. The extra thickness and 26 lb. density of the wool is a must for the hardness the block needs for producing a flat finish without cutting through.

Liberon Rottenstone is the finest abrasive used to burnish the final coats of French Polish as well as other finishes. Often applied with a light oil such as Rosini's Rejuvenator, water or dry using a felt block will produce a finish of unmatched beauty. Can also be used for aging modern reproductions and antiquing picture frames. Rottenstone is also used to produce that aged dusty look.

This is a 26 lb. Wool Felt Block. Which means it takes 26 pounds of wool compressed into a square yard 1 1/8 inches thick. Very firm but flexible. Excellent for use when sanding raw wood, rubbing out a finish topcoat or in between finish coats. Once you use this block, you'll be like me and it will become your "go to" block.
