| Liberon Stone Floor Sealer is an oil based sealer used to seal and protect interior terracotta, slate, york stone and many similar types of porous stone flooring. Helps to reduce dusting and crumbling, and resist marking from water, drink and food spillages.
How to Apply Stone Floor Sealer- Shake well before use.
- Apply the Stone Floor Sealer using a brush or lint free cotton cloth, allow to penetrate for 10 minutes. Remove the excess with a clean lint free cotton cloth and allow to dry for a minimum of 8 hours.
- When thoroughly dry you should check that the surface is properly sealed. To do this, drip a small drop of cold water onto the surface and wipe away immediately. If the water changes the color of the floor, then the stone is not completely sealed. When the test droplet has dried out completely, re-apply another coat. Test again and repeat as necessary until the water drop test no longer marks the surface. Finish with either Stone Floor Shine or floor wax.
- Several coats may be applied quickly on very porous surfaces. The number of coats required will depend on the porosity of the stone, from 1 – 10 coats may be needed.
