|Liberon Shellac Filler Sticks are the traditional way to fill small holes, cracks, and deep scratches in furniture and woodwork before French polishing, lacquering or varnishing. These filler sticks are commonly used in the restoring of antiques where more modern wood fillers would be hard to disguise.
Pack of 3 shellac sticks come in Light , Medium or Dark (see picture above).
Heat the Shellac Filler Stick over the damaged area using either a hot putty knife or a low wattage soldering iron. Drip in the shellac until the damaged area has been filled completely and the shellac is standing proud of the surface. Allow to harden thoroughly before removing the excess shellac with a scraper or fine abrasive paper.
